All bookings are subject to Driffield Spa's
Terms and Conditions.

The following useful information will help you
to prepare for your visit to Driffield Spa.

Terms and Conditions

By confirming your booking and paying the deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, and agree to abide by, these Terms and Conditions

All spa days, overnight stays and treatments must be booked in advance. You can do this by calling 01377 250420 or email mail@driffieldspa.co.uk.

To secure your booking, we require a 50% deposit upon booking of any spa day, overnight stay or treatment. This is a non-refundable deposit, however it is transferable to a later date provided at least 24 hours notice is given. The option to change your date is only offered once.

We have an age 16+ policy for the spa days, overnight spa packages and treatments, and age 18+ for the gym and wetside memberships.

Gift vouchers are available from £10 at the spa reception and valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. Gift vouchers are non-refundable and can not be extended. You must ring up in advance to book, quoting the number on your voucher. Please check your voucher for days of validity - e.g. Monday - Friday only.  Please bring your voucher with you on your Spa Day/appointment.

For individual treatments, we recommend you arrive at the Spa 10 minutes prior to your treatment time.  Late arrival will result in your treatment time being shortened, or in some cases cancelled altogether if there is not enough time to complete your treatment before the next guest's appointment.

You will be asked to complete a brief consultation form on arrival to ensure that you do not have any medical conditions that prevent you from using the facilities. We reserve the right to refuse treatment or use of certain facilities for some medical conditions.

Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is not permitted in any part of the Spa. Due to the warmth and steam within the Spa facilities, we advise against the excessive consumption of alcohol before and during your visit.  Only alcohol purchased from the Spa is permitted, and for your own safety and wellbeing, we reserve the right to limit the amount of alcohol consumed during your visit.

Useful Information

Parking
There is a small car park available at the rear of the hotel (off Exchange Street).  If you are unable to get in the hotel car park, we can advise you on other car parks (mostly free) within a 2-3 minute walk from the Spa.

What to bring
Robes and towels are provided on selected spa packages, as outlined on our spa day page. If they are not included on your package, you can hire them for £4.50pp, or bring your own with you. We do not provide slippers so you may like to bring a pair of flip flops or similar for the wetside.  Suitable swimwear is to be worn in the spa and you may like to bring a spare dry costume/swim shorts which will be more comfortable if you are having treatments.

If you are staying in the hotel on one of our overnight spa packages, we can store your luggage for you in the Spa if you are arriving before the hotel check-in time of 2 pm. Similarly, we can store your luggage if you wish to use the spa facilities after the 11am checkout the next morning.

Dining in the spa
Each spa package states whether meals are included, however food and drinks can be ordered as extras on the day.  The only exceptions to this are the Best Western Bell Hotel Afternoon Tea (Mon-Sat) and the Sunday Carvery, both of which must be booked at least 24 hours before arrival.  Meals and drinks can be served to you in the comfort of our pool viewing area, where you are welcome to stay in robes and swimwear if you wish, or you can go across to the Hotel, which is adjacent to the Spa.

The Light Lunch (Mon-Sat) consists of a choice from the sandwich menu, served with chunky chips, side salad and coleslaw. If you have any dietary requirements please state this upon booking your spa day and an alternative can be arranged.

Tap water is provided to all spa guests in your own individual jug and beakers at poolside or you can purchase bottled water, still or sparkling, for £1.50 each.

Other refreshments such as cream scones, snacks and a selection of hot and cold drinks can be ordered throughout your spa day and served to you in the viewing area.

Packages to suit everyone
If our spa packages don't exactly suit your needs, please give us a call to discuss the facilities and treatments you would like and we will help to arrange the perfect day for you. You can also call us for details of our special offers and group deals. For groups of 8 or more people one the same package, one person goes free, so it's perfect for hen parties, baby showers, birthdays or any special occasion with family and friends.

Individual and additional treatments
You don't have to be on a spa day to enjoy one of our relaxing treatments, you can just book in for a treatment only. If you are on a spa package and would like to add on extra treatments, please book these prior to your arrival at the spa to avoid disappointment, as treatments are subject to availability.
